June 2022 Writer’s Night: Pitch Your Prose

Pitch Your Prose with guest Mary Watson

Now that you have written your prose, how well can you pitch it?  This workshop is designed to assist you to succinctly pitch your written work in less than 90 seconds. At the end of the workshop, you will present a 90 second elevator pitch which will include using your strong voice and engaging gestures. Your pitch will be delivered with ease and authenticity. Step out of your box and into the challenge.

Mary Watson Bio: Since 2000 Mary Watson has been evaluating and sharing written critiques with hundreds of writers, speakers, and presenters through various public speaking and educational events. Mary spent three years in Benin, West Africa teaching and presenting events. She has been a successful public speaker and continuously motivates adults as well youth through Toastmasters programs/events, Ignite Grand Junction!, TEDxGrandJunction, and several Communication and Leadership Workshops.

Join us live at The Art Center in Grand Junction, CO from 6-7:30 pm on Tuesday, June 7. We’re also streaming her presentation on Zoom from the event.
