SUMMARY:March Writer's Night - Podcasting for Writers: How to Get Started with Adi Tilford
DESCRIPTION:Are you looking for a way to increase the reach of your message? \nAre you curious about the art of interview as a method to gain knowledge and insight about content for your writing? \nHave you wondered what steps it takes to start your own podcast? \nIn this workshop Adi Tilford will outline her podcasting journey\, highlighting both the challenges and the unexpected delights she’s discovered along the way. Though Adi started podcasting three years ago as a way to build a “platform” for her writing\, she has learned that podcasting lends itself to developing rich and meaningful written content. As she heads into her third year of podcasting\, she is thrilled to share more about what is now her favorite medium for the writing craft. \nAttendees will receive a digital guide with links to free and paid resources that may be helpful should you decide to pursue creating a podcast of your own. \nAdi Tilford Bio \nAdi Tilford is an adoptive mom and long-time educator\, advocating for therapeutic\, trauma-informed living. Adi hosts the 8000 Promises Podcast*\, writes a monthly essay for her newsletter subscribers and guest preaches at First Presbyterian Church\, Grand Junction. She also serves on the women’s ministry team\, enjoying both low and high impact adventures with Pray and Play! \nMost of the year\, Adi prays and plays in the desert of Colorado where the cactus bloom and coyotes caper in the front yard. She is making her home the place she loves to be with her hubby Sam and their two incredible daughters. \n*8000 Promises Podcast may be getting a new name… brainstorming and potentially rebranding.
